WHere is a home-style version of a beverage found on a new menu. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix which is bursting full of essence associated with holiday season, which makes it perfect for a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup to use in morning drinks, desserts, or to mix additional servings of the drink.

Makes enough for 10 servings
For the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Drink (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
For the Cordial: Put the listed ingredients inside a pot, bring to a light boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the burner and let it to cool down entirely. Pour to a clean bottle, cap it and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for about a month.
For the Batch Mix: Mix all the liquids into a sizeable container, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain best through muslin, making it fully clarified.
For serving: Pour 85ml of the batch mix to a stirring glass filled with ice, and agitate gently for a minute to chill. Pour into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, top with the cranberries and finish by giving it a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
